Sam studied contemporary theatre and performance at Manchester Metropolitan University with a focus on devised and multi-media performance. While attending, he was also a committee member of the university musical theatre society, performing in productions of Spring Awakening, The Wedding Singer, Our House, and a number of showcase performances, allowing Sam to experiment with various musical styles.
Sam also participated in a number of youth theatre companies from an early age, both as a performer and choreographer for shows including High School Musical, Oliver, and charity performances created by Malachi Community Trust.
Having stepped away from performing for some time following university, Sam is incredibly excited to participate in this production with Dynamik Theatre and looks forward to sharing this show with you all!

Classically trained in the Manchester Boys Choir, Ed began performing at a young age. Appearing in a number of original works of musical theatre with the Quaker Youth Theatre he then traded the stage for the studio to spend time as a singer songwriter and recording artist.

Ed has been with Dynamik since 2022 when he played Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf in Into The Woods. Rent has been a favourite show for many years and he can’t wait to share it with new audiences!

Kate is very excited to be making her Dynamic Theatre debut in RENT! After completing a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies she has been involved in many local choirs and has been a regular on the amateur stage. She has performed in several shows at the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich starring as Maria in 9 to 5, Enid Hoopes in Legally Blond
Kate is very excited to be making her Dynamic Theatre debut in RENT! She has performed in several shows at the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich starring as Maria in 9 to 5, Enid Hoopes in Legally Blonde The Musical, Soloist in Broadway to Piccadilly: Songs From The Stage, and Ensemble in Oklahoma! RENT has always been one of Kate's favourites and she has loved being a part of this wonderful cast. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Lauren began her Musical Theatre training at the age of three. After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Music, she qualified as a vocal teacher with the London College of Music and a dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers’ Association, while also graduating from Birmingham City University with a PGC
Lauren began her Musical Theatre training at the age of three. After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Music, she qualified as a vocal teacher with the London College of Music and a dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers’ Association, while also graduating from Birmingham City University with a PGCE.
In 2019, Lauren ventured onto a new path and qualified as a Guide Dog Trainer. However, she couldn’t leave Musical Theatre behind; this is her sixth show with Dynamik, although you won't see her onstage for this one as she is heavily pregnant so she will be providing her vocals from the comfort of a chair in the wings!
Recent theatre credits include: Chiffon, Little Shop of Horrors, Dynamik; Nancy, Oliver, Dynamik; Narrator, Joseph, Dynamik; Miranda, Return to the Forbidden Planet, SMTC; Cinderella’s Mother, Into the Woods, Dynamik; and Dance Captain, Singin’ in the Rain, LWMS.

Steph has been with Dynamik since 2018, most recently having played Martha in Spring Awakening at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2023.
Steph studied Music Performance at The Academy of Music & Sound, and has been performing in Musical Theatre for over 14 years.
