Jaii has been in the industry for more than 20 years. Having graduated LIPAi, Jaii has worked tremendously within the Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance Industries. He most recently appeared on ITV’s StarStruck as part of TEAM JOHN LEGEND.!

He is mostly notably know for staring as ELECTRA  in the 25th Anniversary Cast of Starlight Express as, in Bochum, Germany. 

Jason is so excited and honoured to be reprising the role of ANGEL!

His other theatre credits include; Seaweed in HAIRSPRAY (UK & Oberhausen Germany), Angel in RENT (Liverpool , Unity Theatre & Creators Theatre Company), Moritz in SPRING AWAKENING (Liverpool, Unity Theatre), Richie in A Chorus Line (Asia Tour), RENTPARTY (Sheffield Crucible Theatre).

His other commercial credits include; BRIT AWARDS 2019, SAM SMITH, CALVIN HARRIS, JANELLE MONAE, MEL C, GERMANYS NEXT TOP MODEL, MANCHESTER INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, RED BULL MUSIC EVENTS.

Sam studied contemporary theatre and performance at Manchester Metropolitan University with a focus on devised and multi-media performance. While attending, he was also a committee member of the university musical theatre society, performing in productions of Spring Awakening, The Wedding Singer, Our House, and a number of showcase performances, allowing Sam to experiment with various musical styles.

Sam also participated in a number of youth theatre companies from an early age, both as a performer and choreographer for shows including High School Musical, Oliver, and charity performances created by Malachi Community Trust. 

Having stepped away from performing for some time following university, Sam is incredibly excited to participate in this production with Dynamik Theatre and looks forward to sharing this show with you all!

Classically trained in the Manchester Boys Choir, Ed began performing at a young age. Appearing in a number of original works of musical theatre with the Quaker Youth Theatre he then traded the stage for the studio to spend time as a singer songwriter and recording artist.

Ed has been with Dynamik since 2022 when he played Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf in Into The Woods. Rent has been a favourite show for many years and he can’t wait to share it with new audiences!

Mitch has been performing in musical theatre since he was 6 years old and he has taken part in several shows with Dynamik Theatre including 13, where he played Evan Goldman and, most recently where he had the best time playing Otto in Spring Awakening as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023. Training includes; LAMDA Level 1 award in communication (Grade 2) with distinction, IDTA Silver Level (Honours) in Musical Theatre and Silver Level (Honours) in Musical Theatre Syllabus Duo. Mitch has performed Donkey in Shrek and Charlie in Charlie & The Chocolate Factory at the Core Theatre and has been lucky enough to perform twice at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London.

Ellie is so excited to be back performing with Dynamik, after joining the group for their production of Spring Awakening at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2023.

Ellie trained at Rise Studios for 14 years, furthering her studies at Annie Farr Academy for another 4 years, in which she achieved her gold LAMDA award in Acting.

Ellie is currently studying Philosophy at the University of Birmingham but is largely active in the university’s theatre societies, including GMTG, Watch This, Panto Soc and Live Art Society.

Kate is very excited to be making her Dynamic Theatre debut in RENT! After completing a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies she has been involved in many local choirs and has been a regular on the amateur stage. She has performed in several shows at the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich starring as Maria in 9 to 5, Enid Hoopes in Legally Blonde The Musical, Soloist in Broadway to Piccadilly: Songs From The Stage, and Ensemble in Oklahoma! RENT has always been one of Kate's favourites and she has loved being a part of this wonderful cast. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Robbie brings over 20 years of experience in the theatre, having enjoyed performing in plays and musicals since childhood. He has loved Rent since first doing it in 2014, so it’s a pleasure to return to the show a decade later to enjoy Jonathan Larson’s work once more.

No stranger to the stage, Sarah has notably performed in various productions at The Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham over recent years in roles including Mrs Cratchit in ‘A Christmas Carol’, as Lost Boy ‘Nibs’ in Peter Pan, Kathy in ‘9 to 5 The Musical’ and the role coveted on screen by Barabara Windsor; Violet in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’. 

An all round performer, Sarah has also performed various dancing roles; including a Hot Box Doll in ‘Guys and Dolls’ and a Rockette in ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ as well as vocally in various concerts, bands and wedding functions.

With many strings to her bow, Sarah works 9 to 5 as a marketing director and is a trustee and former radio presenter of 12 years for BHBN Radio.

Having watched previous Dynamik shows, she is very excited to be joining this talented company this time around for RENT.
